A 62-year-old man from Beardy’s and Okemasis’ Cree Nation has died following a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle.
On Monday at 10:50 p.m., Rosthern RCMP responded to the Cree Nation. The pedestrian was declared dead by EMS at the scene.
The next day, just after 1:00 a.m., the vehicle was spotted at a nearby home.
Now,18-year-old Anthony Gamble, also from the First Nation is facing three charges including one count of impaired driving causing death.
He appeared in court Tuesday, and Rosthern RCMP continue to investigate.
