Western Canada’s largest outdoor agricultural show is back for its 11th edition near Langham, about 35 killometres northwest of Saskatoon on Highway 16.
Ag in Motion is expected to attract approximately 30,000 people over the three-day event on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. (July 15-17) About 600 companies will be on site and ready to meet with the farmers coming in from not only Saskatchewan, but Alberta and Manitoba as well. Rob O’Connor is Ag in Motion show manager.
O’Connor is also anticipating as many as 400 internationals visitors, doubling last year’s total.
There are four main demonstration areas at Ag in Motion where farmers can get into the dirt, drive equipment and see the sprayers, skid steers and tractors up close. O’Connor says it connects the farmer and dealer in a field setting, which is a big time-saver.
The latest in drone technology will be on display and going through the paces as well.
Ag in Motion has about 600 exhibitors—mostly for the grain sector, but there is a special section devoted to livestock as well.
Much more information on Ag in Motion can be found here. Show hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
