The Saskatoon Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit conducted a traffic stop in the area of Circle Drive West and 11th Street West around 11:30 p.m. last Friday leading to three men age 23, 29, and 31 being arrested on multiple charges. The Tactical Support and Warrant Enforcement Units assisted in the traffic stop.
The following day on Saturday, search warrants were executed for the 1500 block of Shannon Crescent in the Holliston neighbourhood and 6000 block of Clarence Avenue South, about 10 kilometres south of Saskatoon.
Officers seized 377 grams of cocaine, 7.74 grams of methamphetamine, 48 hydromorphone pills, $4,660 CAD and two prohibited semi-automatic 9mm handguns.
The three men are facing a combined 19 drug trafficking and firearms-related charges. One of the men is also charged with breaching a conditional sentence order.
