Warman RCMP are asking for the public’s help to report sightings of an escaped inmate. Michael Landry, who is an inmate with the Saskatoon Provincial Correctional Centre, was part of a crew doing work in the Highway #11 area, north of Saskatoon.
He stole a van then fled in it at approximately 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday. The 39-year-old is described as approximately 6’2″ tall, heavy build, brown hair and brown eyes. He has many tattoos, include four large numbers on the back of his neck and large letters and a teardrop on his cheek. At the time he was last seen, Michael Landry was wearing a grey shirt and green pants.
Warman RCMP has now charged him with one count, escape lawful custody and one count, theft of vehicle. He was last seen driving a 2007 grey E350 15 passenger van with Saskatchewan license plate 531 FRZ. He has connections to the Saskatoon and Regina areas, but it’s not confirmed that he intends to travel to either.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Michael Landry is asked to call Warman RCMP at 310-RCMP (7267) or 911 in an emergency.
