The Saskatoon Police Service says a man masked and armed with a knife threatened staff at a store in the 300 block of Confederation Drive.
This was Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. and police say he stole several clothing items. Police located a suspect nearby. They say he was wearing several of the stolen items.
A 21-year-old man is charged with Robbery, Concealing Identity to Commit an Offence, and breach of court-imposed conditions.
Meanwhile police officers were flagged down Monday night by a person in the 300 block of Avenue H South who told them they’d seen a man armed with a rifle.
This was around 8 p.m. and police located a suspect matching the description of the individual involved. They say he was in possession of an air soft rifle and several knives. He was taken into custody without incident and now a 37-year-old-man is facing 13 weapons related charges.
