The city is offering a number of free activities for children and youth this summer. The drop-in Summer Play Program for children ages 2 – 12 will include waterplay, sports, crafts and games throughout the city which offers 29 paddling pools, 17 spray pads, and one school. The program runs Monday through Friday with some weekends offered at certain locations. To find a location near you, visit https://www.saskatoon.ca/play.
Hours of Operation, (which also apply to Paddling Pools):
-July 2 – August 19 (closed Monday, August 4)
-Monday – Thursday: 10:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
-Friday: 12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays at select locations will be open 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., beginning July 5th through August 17th.
All pools are expected to be open July 2nd by 5:00 p.m. once public health inspections are completed.
Spray pads will run from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.
Other programs offered this summer are drop-in sports and activities at youth centres for ages 12 to 16 as well as Travelling Summer Play Van and Travelling Skateboard Van & Skateboard Sites.

Traveling Summer Play Van travels to different locations each day providing sports and art activities. Locations can be found at saskatoon.ca/youth.
Travelling Summer Play Van and Travelling Skateboard Van & Skateboard Sites offer youth to practice boarding with skilled skateboard leaders who travel to different locations daily. Equipment is provided or you can bring your own deck.

Charlottetown Park (behind Cosmo Civic Centre, 3130 Laurier Drive) – Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Lions Skate Park (next to Riversdale Pool, 622 Spadina Crescent West) – Monday and Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Forest Park (adjacent to Centennial High School, 215 Nelson Road) – Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Umea Park (behind Lawson Civic Centre, 225 Primrose Drive) – Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
W.W. Ashley Park (beside Lathey Pool, 815 Taylor Street) – Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Skateboard sites without the skateboard program include:

Morris T. Cherneskey Park (beside Shaw Centre, 122 Bowlt Cres)
