A 31-year-old man is facing six charges following an evade police incident early Monday morning.

At 3:00 a.m., June 30, Saskatoon police officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop of a black Chevrolet Malibu in the area of 33rd Street and Avenue F.

The driver refused to stop and began driving dangerously. Members of the Air Support Unit tracked him down and pointed officers in his direction, where they then deployed tire deflation devices and stopped the vehicle.

The driver attempted to run away but was apprehended a short distance away at 41st Street and Avenue B North. The vehicle had been reported stolen.
