The Saskatoon Police Service says multiple people were arrested after officers responded to a weapons call Wednesday morning in Saskatoon’s Mayfair neighbourhood.
Shortly before 11 a.m. police were called to the 1400 block of Avenue E North after a tow truck driver went to a home to move two vehicles and was approached by a man with a firearm.
When officers got there several people were located and one man was allegedly in possession of a firearm as well as an imitation firearm.
A 41-year-old man has been charged with carrying a restricted weapon in a careless manner, unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm without a license, and possession of a weapon while prohibited. Four other people were arrested on outstanding warrants.
