A 46-year-old Lloydminster man has been arrested for driving while impaired.
On April 3, Vermilion RCMP received a complaint of an intoxicated and unwanted male that had arrived at a residence in a Dodge Caravan and was likely to continue driving. Members attended to investigate the complaint and subsequently located the man.
As a result of the investigation, Emile Therien has been criminally charged with impaired operation of a conveyance, over .08, as well as drive while unauthorized under the Traffic Safety Act.
He was released from custody and is set to appear before the court at the Alberta Court of Justice in Vermilion on July 21.
