Four people have been arrested in connection to a firearms investigation in Lloydminster.
Last Wednesday at 9:00 p.m., Lloydminster RCMP received a call reporting several suspicious people near a business in the downtown core. Officers arrived to find four people in possession of firearms. Three were arrested without incident, and the fourth was later located in Onion Lake.
A search produced multiple firearms, including two loaded rifles, as well as ammunition and other weapons-related items.
Now, 25-year-old Shauna Couston of Fort McMurray, 26-year-old Germain Gamble of Onion Lake, 35-year-old Kyle Soosay of Kehewin Cree Nation, and 21-year-old Aimery Thunderblanket of Sweetgrass First Nation are each facing five charges.
