Tickets are reportedly going fast, and they may go faster now that the draws have been released for this fall’s Canadian Olympic Curling Pre-Trials and Canadian Olympic Curling Trials.
The Pre-Trials run October 20 through 26 in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, with two Saskatoon female teams among the eight-team field looking for the last spot into the Trials. Both Nancy Martin’s foursome and Ashley Thevenot’s quartet will play on the Noon draw, Saskatchewan Time, on Monday, October 20. In addition, two Saskatoon squads are among seven teams that have already qualified for the Trials, with the Pre-Trials winner to join them, which run November 22 to 30 in Halifax. Both Mike McEwen’s foursome and Rylan Kleiter’s quartet will play on the 4 p.m., Saskatchewan Time, shift on Saturday, November 22. Following is the news release from Curling Canada…..
