Despite a wet start to the annual Civic Pancake Breakfast last week, after expenses, $10,594.18 was raised for United Way Saskatoon and area.

As well 115 Act of Kindess tickets were purchased. This is where residents can purchase a ticket for someone who may not be able to afford one themselves.

There were 1,044 breakfast tickets sold which was three hundred fewer than the year before.
