The 2024-2025 fiscal year has been record-breaking for the third year in a row for The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA), reporting a record $378 million in gross revenue, and $146 million in a final distribution of income for its 2024-25 fiscal year.
The non-profit corporation reinvests net income back into the province, with the Casino’s net income redistributing 50 per cent to the Fist Nations Trust which gets distributed to 74 First Nations in the province, 25 percent goes to Community Development Corporations (CDCs) which reinvest back into the local community and 25 percent is allocated to the provincial General Revenue Fund.
“SIGA has successfully built itself back to strength post-pandemic and is making investments into its future with the strong growth of its PlayNow.com platform and enhancements to our land-based casinos, ensuring we remain top entertainment destinations in the province,” said SIGA President & CEO Zane Hansen.
“To date, over $1.7 billion has been paid out by SIGA to our First Nations communities, Community Development Corporations (CDCs) and to the Province’s General Revenue fund,” said Hansen.
2024-25 Financial Results:
-Gross Revenue: $378 million compared to $347 million in 2023-24.
-Final distribution of Income: $146 million compared to $139 million in 2023-24.
SIGA as a responsible gaming operator, is nationally certified through the RG Check Program and contributes $2.5 million annually to the provincial First Nations Addictions and Rehabilitation Foundation (FNARF).
