The fire ban for all areas north of the North Saskatchewan River including Little Red River Park is now lifted thanks to rainfall and cooler temperatures.
A release from the City of Prince Albert says all recreational burning must conform to the City of Prince Albert Bylaw 15 of 2021 and residents are reminded that failure to comply with this bylaw could result in a fine of $300.00.
There are 21 active wildfires in the province, up from 19 on Friday, five of which are not contained.
