Cosmo Civic Centre getting back to normal with evacuees returning home

With most wildfire evacuees having returned home, the Canadian Red Cross has closed the Evacuation Centre at Cosmo Civic Centre.

The fitness and weight room and facility rentals will resume next Wednesday.

Drop in programming resumes Tuesday July 2nd.

Meanwhile, the Customer Service Kiosk at Cosmo Civic Centre continues to be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for transit ticket sales, leisure admissions, program registrations, rental payments and purchases of Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo season passes.

There are 17 active wildfires in the province as of 11 a.m. Thursday morning and three remain uncontained. There have been 263 wildfires to date this year compared to 158 which is the five-year average for the same time frame.
