The Federal Government is making admission to all places operated by Parks Canada free between June 20th and September 2nd.
The move comes as part of the Canada Strong Pass, moved by the premiers and Prime Minister Mark Carney in their efforts to incentivize domestic tourism and create one, strong, Canadian economy.
Admission for all visitors to all national historic sites, national parks, and national marine conservation areas operated by Parks Canada, as well as lockage at canals administered by Parks Canada on historic waterways, will be included in the waive.
There will also be an offer for 25 per cent off of any camping and roofed accommodation fees from June 20 to September 2. The discount will be automatically applied when you make a new reservation with Parks Canada online or over the phone, and if you have already booked a campsite, you’ll receive a follow-up email from Parks Canada as your reservation date approaches explaining how to receive your discount.
