Around 3 p.m. Monday Saskatoon police responded to a robbery call in the Fairhaven neighbourhood.
Officers learned that a man was walking in the 400 block of Fairmont Drive when he was approached by two people he didn’t know and was assaulted.
The suspects stole his property and fled. Police continue to investigate.
Meanwhile, the Saskatoon Police Service responded to the 300 block of Avenue Q South after a male youth was bear sprayed. This was around 10:15 p.m. on Monday and officers say he was bear sprayed by a group of youth in an alley. The suspects fled before police arrived.
Shortly after midnight Tuesday police located a youth who had been bear sprayed in the 100 block of Nelson Road. The suspect fled the scene before police got there, and it is not believed the suspect is known to the victim.
Both victims were decontaminated by paramedics and released.
