The Northern Tornadoes Project (NTP) has confirmed two weak tornadoes in Saskatchewan. The first occurred on Friday near Coleville which is 33 kilometres northwest of Kindersley. The second touched down Saturday near Hepburn which is 44 kilometres north of Saskatoon. Both have been assigned an EF0-Default rating because no damage was reported or detected.
Both tornadoes were captured on video and photo by witnesses with the Hepburn tornado touching down at 3:41 p.m. Saturday afternoon and the Coleville tornado, witnesses reported, occurred at 6 p.m. on Friday.
