Saskatoon Police responded to three separate imitation weapon incidents over the weekend.
During the noon hour on Saturday, there was a report of a man with a firearm in the area of Central Avenue and 115th Street.
Upon arrival, officers located two suspects that matched eyewitness descriptions. One attempted to hide an imitation firearm in a bush. A 17-year-old faces weapons charges and failing to comply with a court order.
Very late Saturday night, members of the police bike unit spotted a commotion at a bus stop on the 200 block of 23rd Street East. An 18-year old man was charged with discharging an imitation firearm with intent to cause bodily harm. He is also charged with not following court-ordered conditions.
The last incident happened around 1:30am on Sunday at a hotel in the 100 block of Circle Drive West. There was a group of people in the parking lot. An imitation firearm was located and a 27-year-old man is facing charges.
