Announced this week, 38 additional communities will receive SaskTel InfiNET service after a recent expansion.
Several benefitting communities include Aberdeen, Asquith, Avonlea, Cabri, Craik, Eastend, Elrose, Eston, Île-à-la-Crosse, Kerrobert, La Loche, Muenster, Ponteix, and Wilkie.
The service aims to promise customers ultra-fast internet speeds and “revolutionize the way residents in these communities work, learn, and connect for years to come.”
This latest expansion is part of a $280 million investment from SaskTel as part of its Rural Fibre Initiative, which plans to bring service to nearly 200 rural communities by the end of 2027.
