Tisdale RCMP are investigating after a PRIDE flag painted on a walkway at a community facility was vandalized.
The incident occurred on Thursday and in a news release RCMP say, ” Investigation determined a hateful symbol was painted on a pride flag painted on a walkway at the facility. Investigators believe the incident occurred between 9:45 p.m. on June 11 and 4:00 a.m. on June 12.”
The hateful symbol was a swastika.
Tisdale RCMP ask anyone with information about this incident, or who witnessed suspicious activity on 101st Street in Tisdale on the evening of June 11 or the morning of June 12, to contact them by calling 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
