If you notice an increased police presence at the Regina Cornwall Centre this evening, it’s because the Regina SWAT team is conducting a training session.

The session will include officers from the Downtown Safety Team, Alternative Response Officers, and Cornwall Centre Security. A release from the police service says the training will explore several different public safety scenarios specific to the location.

The session will last for several hours, starting at 6:00 p.m., and those in the area can expect to see multiple police vehicles parked outside the location.
