A 68-year-old male bus driver from Prince Albert has been arrested for driving a bus while impaired.
At 3:30 p.m. last Thursday, police were dispatched to a school in the 300 block of 14th Street West, St. Mary’s High School, for the report of an impaired driver. The caller stated that a bus driver had backed into a vehicle.
Officers arrived and spoke with the man, who was alone on the bus, before conducting a mandatory Approved Screening Device which he failed and was then arrested for impaired driving.
He has been charged with impaired driving and exceeding .08 in a motor vehicle.
