Back in May, a serious single-vehicle rollover occurred on Highway 4 in the Red Pheasant Cree Nation area.
The incident happened on May 15th at 9 a.m. The four occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital, two with serious injuries and two with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers believed that a firearm discharge that happened on Highway #4 around the same time of the collision was related to the rollover, and now they have confirmed that this is true.
On May 16th, Battlefords RCMP arrested 38-year-old Polly Starchief at a home on the Mosquito Grizzly Bear’s Head Lean Man First Nation. She faces 18 charges and appeared in court on May 20th.
Resulting from further investigation, 39-year-old Frazer Stone from Saskatoon is also facing 13 charges, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. Stone is five feet eleven inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He has letters tattooed on his left ankle, an unknown tattoo on his right elbow, and a scar on his left arm.
If you see Frazer Stone, do not approach him. Report all sightings and information about his whereabouts to your local police or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
