To advance clean and sustainable energy solutions, Saskatchewan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Philippines.
A release from the province says workforce development is a key part of the agreement, as the two regions will attempt to create joint educational and student exchange programs. They will focus on nuclear engineering, smart grid technology, and energy store systems.
This agreement is also a result of Saskatchewan’s efforts to diversity markets and grow its international reach.
