A 31-year-old man from Prince Albert has been charged with sexual assault following an incident Tuesday. 

At 2:30 p.m., police were dispatched to the 2000 block of 15th Avenue East for a report of a man breaking into a house which led to an assault and a stolen vehicle in which the suspect fled.  

Upon arrival, officers were told the suspect entered the residence, and after being asked to leave, sexually assaulted a female victim. He then grabbed her purse and drove off in her vehicle, which was later located unoccupied in the 1300 block of Gilmore Crescent.  

The suspect was also successfully located in the 1300 block of Longworth Place. He faces several charges.
