Saskatchewan NDP Leader Carla Beck has announced a change up to her Shadow Cabinet.  The changes include naming Associate Ministers and Deputy Leader Vicki Mowat has been tasked with new community outreach, public speaking and communications responsibilities.

Beck describes it as team which is a government in waiting.

Regina Elphinstone-Centre MLA Meara Conway will assume the role of Health Shadow Minister, Regina Walsh Acres Jared Clarke will take on the role of Rural & Remote Health Shadow Minister and they will be joined by newly appointed Associate Health Shadow Minister and Saskatoon Churchill Wildwood MLA Keith Jorgenson.

Regina Rochdale MLA Joan Pratchler will assume duties as Associate Education Shadow Minister, working with current Shadow Minister Matt Love.

Cumberland MLA Jordan McPhail will assume duties as Associate Corrections, Policing & Public Safety Shadow Minister, working with current Shadow Minister Nicole Sarauer.

Saskatoon Meewasin MLA Nathaniel Teed will be the newly created 2SLGBTQ Affairs Shadow Minister and Saskatoon Silverspring MLA Hugh Gordon will take on the new role of Caucus Military Liaison. Gordon also becomes the Shadow Minister for SaskBuilds and Procurement.

Saskatoon Nutana MLA Erika Ritchie will become the Municipal Affairs Shadow Minister, Saskatoon Southeast Brittney Senger will become the Ethics & Democracy Shadow Minister and Regina Northeast MLA Jacqueline Roy will become the Status of Women Shadow Minister.
