A Saskatoon-born artist has been working with a group of Grade 8 students, who will soon be unveiling their latest performance.
Students in North Park Wilson School’s Creative Action program are excited to present ‘Change’, a multidisciplinary performance exploring the human impact on the natural world.
They are under the direction of local artist and arts educator, Monique Martin, who also brought a display of paper butterflies called ‘Metamorphosis’ to St. John’s Cathedral at the end of May.
The performance will focus on a concern for the planet and use the power of instruments, vocals, dance, and spoken word poetry to raise awareness and spark dialogue.
The free show takes place Tuesday between 7 and 8 p.m. at St. John’s Cathedral.
