This year marks the 109th anniversary of Decoration Day in Saskatoon. The event includes a parade that starts Sunday at 1:30pm at the gates of Woodlawn Cemetary to the Cenotaph and a service will be held to remember and honor veterans for their service and sacrifice.

Decorations will be placed on veterans’ graves and the laying of floral wreaths will end the ceremony.

The event is open to the public and encourages community participation.
