The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Regina man in connection to an online child exploitation investigation that started in February.
On Tuesday members of the ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Regina where electronic devices were examined and then seized.
Twenty-four-year-old Sandeep Kumar of Regina was in court Wednesday charged with Possession of Child Pornography, Making Available Child Pornography, Accessing Child Pornography.
Kumar was released on numerous conditions and is back in court June 11th.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the internet.
