An 18-year-old man died last night after his vehicle hit an elk on Highway 6 near Gronlid, north of Melfort.
It happened around 11pm last night. The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle. Local police, fire and EMS responded to the scene where the man was declared deceased.
The man has been identified from Kinistino, SK. His family has been notified.
