The Saskatoon Police Service says officers responded to a weapons call around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday morning in the 2000 block of Main Street after a man reported a verbal confrontation escalated to a physical assault. The victim reported being threatened with what appeared to be a handgun.

The 21-year-old victim was not seriously injured and the suspect fled in a black SUV prior to police arriving.

The suspect is described as having chin length hair and was las seen wearing a light coloured toque, a black sweater, khaki pants and white crocs.
