Update: The Highway Hotline is not showing any closures as of 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The Highway Hotline reports both lanes of Highway near Silver Willow Road have closed. A bush fire is generating smoke that has impacted visibility on the highway about seven kilometres southeast of Prince Albert.
An advisory from Prince Albert RCMP indicates the closure may be in effect for some time and motorists should plan to use an alternate route. The RCMP advisory was issued just after 4:30pm Monday.
