Two young adults from North Battleford have been arrested following an armed robbery on Sunday morning.
At about 2:35 a.m., RCMP were called to 109th Street in North Battleford. An investigation determined that three people, one of which had a firearm, attempted to break into a parked camper.
Officers say a man staying inside the camper exited and an altercation took place between him and the three suspects. RCMP say a firearm was pointed at the man, but it was not discharged, then the three fled the site on foot.
Police dogs tracked the three to a home on 110th Street where 24-year-old Austin Dreaver and 19-year-old Kalayah Jackson were arrested. They were scheduled to appear in court on Monday, and the investigation continues.
