Battlefords RCMP have arrested a man and a woman following an assault on the Moosomin First Nation.
On Tuesday at 2 p.m., RCMP were called to a home on the First Nation. Officers determined two people had entered the home armed with a firearm, bear-sprayed the victim and robbed them before fleeing in a truck.
Later that evening, officers located the suspect truck at a home on Saulteaux First Nation. A man exited the home and was taken into custody. A woman exited the home 4.5 hours later, shortly after 1 a.m.
Officers located and seized a semi-automatic firearm and ammunition from a vehicle at the home.
Now, 28-year-old Richard Wright of Battleford and 23-year-old Jenna Haraburda of North Battleford each face four charges. They were scheduled to appear in court today.
