In an effort to liven up the back lanes on Broadway, The Broadway Business Improvement District (BBID) unveiled “Broadway Door Decor” which is a bold and colourful new public art installation.

The installation features artwork of ten artists, who transformed the once unnoticed doors, into surfaces re-imagined.

Anne-Marie Cey is the Executive Director of Broadway BID and says the Door Decor is a self-paced art walk allowing visitors to experience art in a new way.

The doors now resemble large canvases with vibrant, printed vinyl decals.

Visitors can scan the QR code on the doors and learn about each one, such as a description, the bios of the artists and the name of the piece.
