CAA has proclaimed today, May 13th, as Slow Down Move Over Day to preserve the safety of tow truck drivers and first responders.
CAA is reminding the public that it’s the law to slow to 60 km/h for those who are working alongside our Saskatchewan highways.
To spread awareness, several tow truck parades and events will be taking place in Saskatoon, Lloydminster, Regina and Yorkton throughout the day.
Saskatoon’s parade will begin at 8:00 p.m. at SaskTel Centre and continue over to Circle Drive where the trucks will do a complete circle of the city escorted by the Saskatoon Police Service.
