The City of Prince Albert has launched their annual Anti-Graffiti Program.
Homeowners, business owners and private owned facilities can apply to the City of Prince Albert under the Anti-Graffiti Program, to receive assistance with graffiti removal located on exterior surfaces of their private property.
The “New and Improved” program aims to streamline the application process with their easy online format. Once submitted, the approval process is the same day.
Also new to the program, is a second removal option.
Tim Yeaman is the Parks and Open Spaces Manager for the City of Prince Albert and says, “In previous years, property owners were provided the supplies and removed graffiti themselves. Now, the applicant can select to have the city pay a contractor for one hour to come to the property and remove it for them. Using a pressure washer and a special chemical that lifts the graffiti from the surface, this is an alternative that encourages community involvement.”
The best way to stop graffiti vandalism is to REPORT IT, RECORD IT and/or REMOVE IT.
Property owners can apply through www.citypa/anti-graffiti. Once submitted, the application has a same-day approval.
