Warman RCMP are asking for public assistance with identifying a suspect in a sexual offence investigation.
A Saskatchewan RCMP news release says Warman RCMP received a report of a sexual offence back on Friday at about 12:30 p.m. at a business south of Saskatoon, off Highway #762. Officers responded and were able to determine that an adult male lured a child, under the age of six, to an isolated area of the business property and exposed himself. The child didn’t know the man, who fled into a nearby treed area when the incident was interrupted by the child’s family. The child was not physically harmed. Police searched the area, with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services, but could not locate the suspect, hence the request for the public’s help with identifying him. A Saskatchewan RCMP forensic sketch of the man is with this story. He is described as about 6-feet tall with a medium build, a light complexion, medium-length curly blonde hair and is clean shaven. He has spaces between his teeth and was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, gray mirrored sunglasses, a blue shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. Anyone who recognizes the suspect, or who has seen any suspicious activity in the area on May 9, should contact Warman RCMP at 310-RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
