Weekly household hazardous waste drop-off days returned earlier this week.

That means you can drop off your household hazardous waste every Wednesday at the Material Recovery Centre. The type of waste that shouldn’t make it into your regular garbage bin include aerosols, automotive fluids, cleaners, cylinders, light bulbs, and yard chemicals.

These kinds of items will be accepted from 8:30 a..m. to 4 p.m. every Wednesday at the facility on Valley Road and the service is free.
