Two people from La Ronge have been arrested, one of which was wanted by three police organizations.
On Wednesday, officers located a woman in a vehicle in La Ronge who was wanted on warrants from La Ronge RCMP, Saskatoon Police Service and Regina Police Service. Her offences included vehicle theft, driving while suspended and assault with a weapon.
During her arrest, officers found illicit drugs sitting in plain view in the vehicle. Her male passenger was also arrested.
To follow, a search of the vehicle produced a significant sum of cash, 55.4 grams of cocaine and additional drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Now, 36-year-old Linda Dumais and 28-year-old Wyatt Dumais are facing charges, and they appeared in La Ronge Provincial Court on Thursday.
