Two people were arrested on Wednesday after a break and enter at a home on 10th Avenue West in Nipawin.
At 3:30 a.m., Nipawin RCMP responded to the home along with local EMS. Officers determined that a man and a woman broke into the home and assaulted two females inside.
One victim was transported to hospital by EMS with non-life-threatening injuries, and the other was transported to a hospital in Saskatoon by STARS for injuries described as serious, but non-life threatening.
Through investigation, RCMP were able to arrest 36-year-old Scott McKay from Red Earth Cree Nation and 33-year-old Noreen Head from Nipawin. They are both facing numerous charges and are scheduled to appear in Nipawin Provincial Court on May 14th.
