Prince Albert Police responded to a couple of stabbings last weekend. A man was found injured in the 800 Block of 12th Street West early Friday evening. The victim received further treatment in hospital. Later that night, a 24-year-old woman was arrested in a residence a few blocks away. She has been charged with aggravated assault. PA Police say the suspect and victim knew each other.
The other stabbing happened on Sunday, shortly after midnight. A man was taken to hospital after being treated by paramedics near a business in the 3600 block of Second Avenue West. He was covered in blood and did not cooperate with the police. An arrest has not been made, but officers believe they were able to determine where the stabbing occurred.
There was a road rage incident in Prince Albert around 3:30 on Friday afternoon. Officers were told someone pointed a firearm at another driver in the 400 block of 15th Street West around 3:30pm. The suspect vehicle was spotted later on 32nd Street West, but did not stop for officers and fled at a high speed. The police pursuit ended to ensure public safety. The unoccupied vehicle was located on a routine patrol on Saturday in the 200 block of 35th Street West. The investigation continues.
Five company trucks and four ATV’s were stolen from a business in the 400 block of South Industrial Drive in Prince Albert, sometime early Friday. Police were able to locate four of the trucks north of P.A. One of the trucks was burned and all four ATV’s are missing. One of the trucks, a grey GMC Sierra 2500 with Saskatchewan license plate 883 MDS, is still outstanding as stolen. The four ATV’s are a 2021 Can-Am Out Max 650, a 2022 Can-Am Out Max XT650, a 2023 Can-Am Max XT850, and a 2024 Can-Am Max XT700.
