The Saskatoon Police Service’s Serious Assault Unit continues to investigate multiple aggravated assaults that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday.
According to a police news release, officers responded to an injured person in a parking lot in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue North shortly before 4 a.m. on May 4. Upon arrival, police found a 24-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds while the canine unit located two men, aged 18 and 20, with knife-related injuries and suffering from the effects of bear spray just a short distance away.
The 24-year-old male victim was taken to hospital with what were believed to be serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The other two male victims were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
