Someone stole a Saskatoon Police cruiser early Sunday morning—but it was recovered about 15 minutes later by using the patrol vehicle’s GPS.
Police were on patrol on 22nd Street at Avenue P around 1:30AM when a man unexpectedly entered the roadway. He was intoxicated and carrying an open bottle of liquor. When officers approached the man, he fled and was taken into custody. When they went back to the cruiser, it was no longer there. It was located—abandoned—in a back alley in the 1600 block of 29th Street West.
