Big River RCMP are searching for a man who is charged with aggravated assault.
On April 11 at 2:00 p.m., RCMP received a report that a serious assault had occurred at a home in Big River, and the victim transported to hospital.
Investigation determined that two male men had entered the home and assaulted another man with a weapon. Officers located and seized various weapons at the residence.
One suspect, 45-year-old Otis Watier of Lashburn, was arrested in Lloydminster earlier today, but officers are still on the hunt for 51-year-old Cole Hegland of Big River. He is six feet tall, 170 pounds, with green eyes, short blond hair, and a skull tattoo on left and right shoulder.
If you see him, do not approach him. Instead report sightings or information to Big River RCMP.
