Smoke from the Thursday house fire could be seen from the north end of Saskatoon.
The fire in Corman Park on Thursday was a house fire.
Corman Park Police posted on social media Thursday that there was a structure fire at Highway 16 around Township Road 380.
The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to the call at 11:52 a.m. with two engines, one rescue one tanker and one brush truck.
You could see heavy black smoke northwest of Saskatoon and when fire crews arrived, they could see a single storey home with both the roof and attached garage fully involved with fire. Dalmeny Fire Department was requested for an additional tanker.
No one was hurt but the house is a total loss. There is no damage estimate at this time and the Saskatchewan Provincial Safety Agency (SPSA), in collaboration with Corman Park Police, will be investigating.
