The 2025 Induction Class is the first to feature a parent and child being inducted at the same time who were not inducted together as part of a team. Klara Kesmarky Miller and Noah Miller are also the first mother and son inducted into the Hall of Fame as individuals at any time.
“Sport is often important to families in Saskatchewan, inducting a mother and son the same year is a testament to how ingrained sport can be in our culture,” said Erin Stankewich, Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame.
The 2025 induction will also see the sports of water polo and rugby having their first individual inductees in the Hall of Fame. With the addition of these two sports, there are now 55 recognized sports in the Hall of Fame.
“This year’s inductees highlight how sport can shape one’s journey, through family connections, momentous achievements, and lifelong friendships. This class is a shining example of the profound impact that sport can have on a life, and we are thrilled to be able to share and amplify those stories this year,” said Stankewich.
With the addition of these inductees this fall, the Hall of Fame will grow to 561 inductees which includes 257 athletes, 173 builders, and 131 championship teams.
