A 25-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault following a Friday afternoon family dispute in Prince Albert.
The family dispute involved violence according to a call to the Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) at about 4:30 p.m. on April 4. According to a PAPS news release, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of 28th Street West where they found two men outside a residence – one of whom appeared to have injuries consistent with an assault. Following further investigation, police determined the second male was the suspect in relation to the assault and was arrested without incident. The two men were known to each other. The victim was treated by Parkland Ambulance at the scene, then taken to hospital for further treatment.
