Thirteen awards were handed out at the 28th annual Business Builder Awards last night with over 450 business owners, government officials and employees in attendance to celebrate the achievements, even through a snowy, windy spring storm.
The Innovation Award was handed over to 9 Mile Legacy Brewing. It was ten years ago next month that the craft brewing company opened its doors. Less than a year ago, 9 Mile created a new division called LGCY Innovation Hub, to help those interested in brewing learn more about how to get into the industry, and it’s this Innovation Hub that led to the NSBA Business Builder Award. The Community Builder Award winner was Saskatoon Fire & Flood, a restoration, remediation and construction services. This award is given to NSBA businesses that demonstrate a commitment to operating in a philanthropic and empathetic way.
